DIY Drawer Wall Hangers

{images via design*sponge}

These drawers that have been repurposed into wall hangers have such charm and character...the toughest part about this project is choosing which pretty knobs to use! I can already hear the ones from Anthropologie calling my name....

DIY Bokeh Lens

{images via diy photography}

Bokeh is such a neat form of photography...all those twinkling lights captured in that trademake blur just look so cool and unique! You can use this DIY lens technique using a plethora of shapes....snowflakes, hearts, stars, fleur de lis, whatever floats your boat! If you end up giving this tutorial a whirl, please do send us your photos. We'd love oogle over them! :)

DIY Paint Stick Pendant Light

{images via enjoying the simple things}

This DIY pendant shade came out really nicely considering it probably cost under $10 to make! A fun combination of rustic, coastal, and modern, I'd think this would be a fun project to experiment with for a play room....rainbow sticks, anyone?!

DIY Painted Chandelier

{image via design*sponge}

Wow, what a transformation this was! With some elbow grease and a simple coating of paint, this chandelier went from "ewww" to "ooooh"! We love the idea of salvaged furniture and decor, and this project would be so fun to complete in a weekend. Just think of the gold mine you have in your attic or garage right now!

Knock it Off! The Orimono Pillow

{via Mad Mim}

Wow, I am thorougly impressed with Mim's recreation of Anthropologie's Orimono pillow....if you are a crafty person with some sewing skills, head on over to her blog for instructions on how to make your own!

Just on a side note, I COMPLETELY agree with Mim on knock-offs....if you want to copy a design for your own personal enjoyment, go for it. I do, however, think it is unethical to sell or profit off of such things.
